Thank God it's Friday

So I successfully completed my 8.8km walk yesterday. 3.6 in the morning, 5.2 in the arvo.
Stel tried to be helpful and after passed and saw me on the way to the shops he stopped and offered me a lift I the car the rest of the way. I explained to him that doing that is actually encouraging me to quit and in fact not helpful but today I am SORE. Was also pretty lucky that I don't like onion and didn't have the 2 Cheese filled pattie  burgers I was planning too. Instead I had one buttered roll, lots of leafy salad and too much feta.....but it wasn't 2 juicy burgers.
Sadly I had home made chocolate mousse for dinner.
As Sore as I am and guilty for the two scoops of moose I still feel pretty motivated -Just got to keep moving.
I am very glad it's Friday though. Even though it is a short week first week back at work is a KILLER.

On a Mission

So today I walked to walk. A whole 3.6 km. I was worried it would take me 45min - 1hour so I left at 7.50am to ensure I was there well before 9am. I arrived at 8.30am. 40 minutes felt pretty good so I went to the female sports bathrooms and had a shower and got changed into work gear instead of work out gear.
Am so motivated instead of walking the 3.6 km home I am going to instead walk straight to our dinner destination which is 5.2 km away. 8.8km in a day is a good way to start the health kick. So my plan is to walk to and from work at least 1 day a week over summer/autum until weather gets bad. Hoping that this and smaller walks after work as well as changing eating habits (Banning all food that is accessable by drive through or delivery)  that I will loose lots of weight...especially in time for my show in June (Witches of Eastwick with MLOC).

Back to Work

Today was my first day back at work for 2012.
Good so far.
Most people are on holidays still which is good and bad. Less people around to give you more work to do but less people to assist when you require help.
Updating all the folders so they are all new and shiny and are labelled 2012.
Went home for lunch and had a Caesar salad. Trying to be healthy
and yes I know Caesar dressing isn't the healthiest but it's better than McDonald's etc.
Off to mum and dad's for dinner tonight. Steak and Salad.
Thinking of walking to work to and from work tomorrow but will have to get up early.
Going to be difficult because I know Stel has lots of new TV episodes to watch
Revenge, The new girl, Happy Endings, 2 broke girls etc.
I wanna watch them ALL but will need to go to bed early.
New Years Resolution is to lose weight.
I am hideous at the moment at 108 kg so hopefully I will re weigh myself and next month
I will be able to reveal the news of some weight loss. Fingers Crossed.
